Neurolens

Do you have problems such as neck pain, dizziness, eye fatigue, or motion sickness? These symptoms could be due to a visual problem.

We have two eyes that give us two separate images. The right eye and the left eye each receive an image, and the brain puts those two images together. When our eyes are both pointed in the same exact place in space, this happens without any issue.

Sometimes our eyes are not pointed together in the exact place when we read or focus on a digital device. Our brain has to compensate for this difference, which can cause eye pain and fatigue, which can lead to other symptoms such as neck pain, dizziness, eye fatigue, and motion sickness.

Neurolens is a new solution in vision care, addressing eye alignment issues and providing relief from the associated symptoms. Utilizing contoured prism technology, these lenses help correct small amounts of ocular misalignment from far vision to near tasks. This custom design not only reduces strain on our eyes when using digital devices or reading but also makes you feel better while doing these tasks.

Our office uses a new virtual reality measurement device, which helps determine the amount of misalignment you have and develops a custom prescription to help keep the eyes together when you look at objects, whether near or far.

If you are struggling with your vision and you’ve been told you have 20/20 vision and your eyes are fine, yet you’re still struggling with digital devices, please call our office and schedule an appointment for an evaluation with Dr. Muir to see if you are a candidate for this technology.
